“Stories in the Stars” at Hempstead County Library

The Hempstead County Library is currently in the middle of their summer learning program. This year, the nation wide theme is “Universe of Stories.” On Tuesday, June 18 they welcomed the Hampstead Stage Company to the library to perform “Stories in the Stars”. With nearly fifty kids present, actresses, Rebecca Whitney Klein, and Caroline Clay preformed a story based on Greek mythology, the gods and goddesses, and mythic creatures. The stories are told by using the constellations within the stars to figure how who the mystery goddess is.
