Washington farmer’s market open Saturday till noon

WASHINGTON – The Old Washington Farmers’ Market will be open from 8am to Noon this Saturday July 20th. The market is located behind Washington City Hall across from Williams Tavern Restaurant in Washington, Arkansas. Come out and support your local farmers and get locally grown produce.

Vendors at the market include:  Silvey Farm of Bodcaw with long beans, squash, cucumbers, green tomatoes, okra, zucchini bread, and homemade rolls.  Aunt Fern of Ozan with her famous fried pies.  Kay Bee’s from Nashville with honey, plants, blueberries; Barry’s Products from Washington with delicious lemonade, selection of produce and painted flower pots. Come out early to get your first picks of produce for it will go fast.  Be sure to also sign up for the giveaway basket. You don’t have to be present to win.  The market hospitality table will be serving coffee and slices of watermelons from Arnold Farm.
