Granny Erwin

Glen and Ann Wade recently shared a couple of pictures with us of “Granny” Erwin.  Mrs. Erwin was thought to be the oldest newspaper carrier.in the county back in the 80’s. She carried the Hope Star and was a guest on Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show”.  She was a well-known and.much-loved sight delivering papers in Hope…and if memory serves she held her on with Carson, too.
