Brotherhood And Sisterhood of Fulton

The Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Fulton recently held a fundraiser for Makayla Anderson of Magnolia.  The 6 year old is suffereing from leukemia and has had a rough time of it lately.  The benevolent group from Fulton holds fundraising program, generally twice a month, throughout several southwest Arkansas counties to raise funds for needy, deserving people.  Many of the recipients have suffered a devastating illness.  According to Pastor Jessie Henry, President of the Brotherhood, the group has taken on a longer term commitment for Makayla.  The group is pledging to contribute towards her medical expenses on a regular basis until she is through college.  A spokesperson for Savings Souls Ministry, the Prescott church which brought the youngster’s situation to light to the Brotherhood, the church is grateful for the support of the Fulton group and is pleased Makayla is doing fairly well at the moment.  Officers in the Brotherood (some of whom are pictured here) include Pastor Jessie Henry, Maurice Henry, Dr. Roy Trner, Milton Haynes, Deacon Ernest Brown, Charlie Scroggins, Johnny Scott, and Kirk Gray.  Principals in the Sisterhood of Fulton include Gail Haynes, Shirley Brown, Brenda Scott, and Liz Conner.
