Trio arrested by HPD

On August 16, 2019, at approximately 8:52am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested David Yates, 39, of Hope, and charged him with forgery 1^st degree. The arrest occurred in the 1800 block of West 5^th Street in Hope, Arkansas. Yates was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On August 16, 2019, at approximately 10:05am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Phillip Edwards, 43, of Hope and charged him with breaking or entering into a structure and theft of property. The arrest occurred in the 1200 block of Pine Park Drive in Hope, Arkansas. Edwards was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On August 17, 2019, at approximately 10:42pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Antonio Evans, 35, of Hope and charged him with possession of a controlled substance –methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and domestic assault 3^rd degree. The arrest occurred in the 700 block of Pine Street in Hope, Arkansas. Evans was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
