Hutson receives Mike Rowe Work Ethic Scholarship

HOPE – Forrest Hutson, of Hope, Arkansas, is a 2019 recipient of the Mike Row Work Ethic Scholarship. Hutson has completed a certificate in welding technology at UAHT and is currently pursuing a certificate in industrial maintenance technology.

The Mike Rowe Works Foundation advocates for trade education. Aimed at “the next generation of aspiring workers who will work smart and hard,” the program is designed for people willing to learn a trade that’s in demand. The aim of the foundation is to attract applicants who “understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and positive attitude.”
