Wolves win, 2-0, over Fouke as Panthers forfeit game
PRESCOTT – Without having to suit up or take to the field, the Prescott Curley Wolves won Friday night’s game against the Fouke Panthers, 2-0.
According to a press release from the Arkansas Activities Association, the Panthers agreed to forfeit the game. However, the release gave no information as to why. But, Prescott Offensive Coordinator Brian Glass said there was an altercation last week when Fouke and Glen Rose were playing.
Prescott’s first home game will be homecoming Friday, Oct. 4, as the Wolves host the Bismarck Lions. Homecoming festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m.
Prior to the game, the Prescott Kiwanis Club will be hosting its annual fish fry in the Prescott Junior High School cafeteria. Tickets are $10 each.
