His tremendous faith and trust in Jesus were evident through his lifetime of ministry, which included serving as Chaplin for the Civil Air Patrol. Archie was a pilot and expert mechanic, able to repair nearly everything with an engine. A natural born innovator, he took great pleasure in his hobby of invention, having developed a tire sealant in the early 1970’s which was used in 18-wheeler and heavy machine tires for years to follow. He loved reading and memorizing the Bible, as well as the Encyclopedia, and had a sharp mind for lifelong learning.
