William L. “Bill” Ridling, Jr., age 72 of Prescott, Arkansas began his next drilling job in heaven on October 1, 2019. Bill was born December 20, 1946 to William L. and Lela Faye Biggs Riddling Sr. Bill began his life long search for the next producing well by following his father to the oilfields when he was only 12 years old, this quest took him all over the world but he was always drawn back to the meadows and pastures of Nevada County Arkansas.

He enjoyed his time with his cows, hunting, fishing, and shopping for his next new truck. Bill was a godly man that enjoyed hearing the Word of God preached and taught, he and his wife Betty Taylor Ridling shared a true love for each other and worshiping the lord together. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a retired supervisor in the oilfield. He is preceded in death by his father, William L. Ridling Sr., mother Lela Faye Biggs Ridling, and sister Patricia Harris.

Bill is survived by his true love, his wife, Betty Taylor Ridling, children, Greg Ridling, Carol Ridling, Christy Ridling, Jeff Holloman (Sandy), D’Anna Snyder (Jeffery) and Jimmy Hollomon, which was a wonderful buddy and friend, nine grandchildren, and a brother Mike Ridling (Jo). He is also survived by good friend Steve Bosworth that can breathe easier since Bill cannot tell all he knows about him and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 HWY 371 West Prescott, Arkansas 71857.

 Bill’s life will be celebrated at 2:00pm, Sunday, October 6, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home with Bro. James Cox, Bro. Neal Ridling, Bro. Mike Puckett, and Mr. Steve Bosworth officiating. Burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery in the Redland community.
