Ribbon cutting held for Yates Maintenance Heat and Air
PRESCOTT – There’s a new heat and air business in town.
Yates Maintenance Heating and Air was officially welcomed into the Prescott business community with a ribbon cutting Thursday morning. The owner, Michael Yates, a graduate of Prescott High School, said the company does residential and light commercial heat and air installation, along with insulation and preventative maintenance.
The company basically uses Heil and Trane products, but can and does install other brands as well. Yates has been in business for 10 years in Little Rock, and has been in the heating and air profession for 17 years. He opened a branch in Prescott due to requests from people in the community and to help meet the community’s needs.
Service calls are $89 plus any materials used. Basically, if it involves heating and air systems, Yates Maintenance can do what’s needed to correct any problems. The company is on call 24/7 and financing is available for new central heat and air units.
Jamie Hillery, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Yates Maintenance to Prescott, saying she’s excited for the business to be here.
Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver said he’s also glad the business is here, adding there’s a definite need for its services because there are a lot of old, worn out units needing to be replaced or upgraded. He said the city would help the business any way it could.
