Former Blevins School Board president arrested on second count of child pornography

HOPE – On December 20, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Hempstead County criminal Investigators arrested Justice Lee West age 30, Of Blevins, on the charges of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

On November 7, 2019, West was arrested for voyeurism. During the arrest West’s cell phone was seized and a search warrant was executed on the phone an iCloud account belonging to West was discovered which images of nude juveniles depicting sexual contact with other juveniles. The new charges is unrelated to the victim in the voyeurism charges West was arrested for in November of this year.

West was charged with three counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. A class C felony for the first offense and a Class B felony for any subsequent offense. And placed in the Hempstead County Detention Center where he is awaiting a first court appearance.
