Clean up set for April 22

PRESCOTT – In conjunction with the Great Arkansas Clean Up, the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, City of Prescott and Firestone are sponsoring a trash/bulk item pickup day Wednesday, April 22.

The event will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. with Firestone providing cash prizes to the top three teams. Volunteers are needed to help clean the city up. The city’s sanitation crews will be available to pick up bulk items.

Those  planning to participate need to meet at Sterling Square in front of the mural at 9 a.m. to go over the areas of concern. Trash bags, gloves and vests will be provided.
