2nd Case Of COVID-19 Confirmed In Hempstead County According To Judge Crane

A 2nd case of COVID-19 has been confirmed by Hempstead County Judge Jerry Crane. “We’re wanting the public to know we do have another confirmed case of the virus. Emergency Services will let our office know and then put it out to the county. We are not told where or who…that’s not information given out to the public but we’re just letting you know another case has arrived in the county,” says Judge Crane. “What we’re doing is just trying to encourage people to keep their distance, at least 6 feet apart. Try not to get in big crowds. When people are coughing and sneezing, this is airborne, it can get on you, it can land on you. Even certain types of surface in the community, just all kinds of areas can be contaminated with it. I even encourage people when they go to the gas pump, take the nozzle out with a paper towel. A lot of people could have this that doesn’t know they have it”, says the Judge.
