Hempstead County Health Unit Ready To Give Flu Shots
HOPE – Debbie Howard, administrator of the Hempstead County Health Unit, said there won’t be a mass flu clinic this year due to the corona virus.
However, the staff at the HCHU will focus on giving flu shots the week of Sept. 21-25 during regular office hours, from 8 a.m until 4:30 p.m. The vaccinations will be administered in a drive-through format on the back parking lot of the HCHU.
There is no out of pocket expense, but anyone with insurance is asked to bring their card. For more information, call 870-777-2191.
