Two Arrested on Drug Charges

HOPE – Monday, September 21, officers with Arkansas Community Corrections, agents of the 8th North Task Force and deputies of the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department arrested 53-year-old Robert Gulliams and 58-year-old Bobby Cobb after conducting an investigation into alleged narcotic activity at 1705 Wilson Street, in Hope.

Gulliams was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Cobb was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, and  two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Agents seized a set of digital scales, several pills, suspected marijuana, syringes, and suspected Methamphetamine.

Both were transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center in Hope to await a first court appearance.
