HPD arrests four

HOPE – On September 28, 2020, at approximately 10:00pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Andrea Ruiz, 38, of Hope, AR and charged her with aggravated assault on a family member. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of S. Washington St. in Hope, AR. Ruiz was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On September 28, 2020, at approximately 9:43am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Willie Munn, 64, of Hope, AR and charged him residential burglary, criminal mischief in the 1^st degree and served him a failure to appear warrant. The arrest occurred in the 800 block of E. Avenue A in Hope, AR. Munn was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On October 1, 2020, at approximately 6:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Anthony Brown, 18, of Hope, AR and charged him with unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle, aggravated assault, battery in the 1^st degree, and criminal mischief in the 1^st degree. The arrest occurred in the 2100 block of N. Hazel St. in Hope, AR. Brown was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On October 2, 2020, at approximately 2:05pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Emmanuel Ballinger, 32, of Emmet, AR and charged him with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 1400 block of N. Hervey St. in Hope, AR. Ballinger was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
