HPD Santa Cop program has twist this year

HOPE – Normally, hitting an officer of the law with a pie is not a good idea.

However, to help raise money for its annual Santa Cop program, the Hope Police Department is having a Pie an Officer contest. The rules are simple – go to the HPD, make a donation to the Santa Cop program and choose which officer you’d like to see get hit in the kisser with a pie. The officer with the most donations will get hit with a pie in the face on Facebook Live on Dec. 14.

Participating officers are: Chief J.R. Wilson, Lt. Courtney, Sgt. Oller, Cpl. Jones and Cpl. Dean.

All proceeds will be used to help fund the Santa Cop program and purchase gifts for needy children this holiday season
