Southern Arkansas University recognized 283 graduates at the Fall 2020 Commencement Ceremony Including Hempstead and Nevada County Students

MAGNOLIA, AR (01/12/2021)– Students earned undergraduate and graduate degrees at Southern Arkansas University’s Fall Commencement ceremony held on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Ashley Grace Rodden graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Rodden, from Hope, AR, majored in agricultural education from the College of Science and Engineering.

Kaitlyn Elizabeth Ward graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Ward, from Hope, AR, majored in psychology from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Montress Nicole Jones Magee graduated with a Bachelor of University Studies degree. Jones Magee, from Hope, AR, majored in university studies from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

Holly J. Hooker graduated with a Master of Education degree. Hooker, from Hope, AR, majored in curriculum and instruction from the College of Education.

LaToya Evonne Pearson graduated with a Master of Education degree. Pearson, from Rosston, AR, majored in curriculum and instruction from the College of Education.

A total of 100 candidates from the School of Graduate Studies and 183 undergraduate candidates were recognized from SAU’s four academic colleges.
