Fire On West Avenue B

The Hope Fire Department responded to a fire at 804 West Avenue B around 1pm Wednesday.  According to Fire Chief Todd Martin the cause of the fire was unknown and damage was confined to the kitchen area.  The house was unoccupied and had no electricity.  Investigation is continuing.  The Hope Fire Department was joined by the Hope Police and Centerpoint Energy at the scene.
