Mr. Jacky Simmons, age 76 of Deann, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Hope, Arkansas. Jacky was born October 13, 1944 to Clifton and Zelma Turner Simmons in Daisy, Arkansas. He was a member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Deann. He retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army Reserves, and after 30 years of service with the Arkansas Highway Police Dept, retired as Sergeant. Jacky was a hardworking man, dedicated to each task he started, and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Vicki Simmons; One son, Jacky Simmons, Jr, wife Lauren of Junction City, KS; Two daughters, Robin Bond, husband Darrin of Ashdown, AR, Jennifer Simmons of Thorsby, AL; Two brothers, Terry Simmons, wife Julie of Amity, AR, Mickey Simmons, wife Sharon of Mena, AR; Five sisters: Betty Graves of Salem, AR, Linda Scholten, husband Kent of Royce City, TX, Retha Vaughn, husband Donnie of Amity, AR, Shelia Mack of Glenwood, AR, Kim Evans, husband Kevin of Amity, AR. Six grandchildren; Michael Wayne Spears, Maddox Simmons, Aubreigh Simmons, Evalynne Simmons, Eden Simmons, Brett Bond and Two great-grandchildren; Braylen and Kobe Spears.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:30 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Chapel.

A graveside service will be held, weather permitting, 2:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Snell Cemetery with Bro. John Natoins and Mr. Gene Leverett officiating.
