Who is getting the vaccine now?

Vaccinations are happening now for the following persons/workers:

  • 65 years and older
  • Education
  • Police, fire, other first responders, EMS
  • Correctional staff
  • Food and Agriculture
  • People with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Essential Government
  • Grocery Store/Meal Delivery
  • Postal/Package Delivery Service
  • Public Transit
  • Houses of Worship
  • Manufacturing
  • Health care
  • Residents & staff at Long-term Care Facilities
  • Primary Care, Urgent Care
  • College/University student health center
  • K-12 Health Clinics & School nurses
  • Dental clinics
  • Pharmacies
  • Home Health and Hospice care
  • Private Care/personal care helpers
  • Dialysis centers
  • Morticians/funeral home staff
  • Blood donation centers

Where can you get the vaccine?

Most local pharmacies are now able to give the vaccine at the pharmacy. Check on their website or call them.

Vaccination Clinics:

  • ExpressRX – they are having vaccination clinics for the public at the Hope High School on March 12th, 19th, and April 2nd. Times are 8:00am-2:00pm inside the Mac building.   • Wadley Hospital is having a vaccination clinic for the public on March 18th at the main entrance from 8:00am-12:00 & 12:30-2:30. You can request a registration form by emailing Shelby.brown@steward.com OR just walk in.
  • There is NO out-of-pocket cost to you for this vaccine.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early if you schedule an appointment. There will be forms for you to sign giving consent for the shot.
  • Please bring a photo ID and insurance card if you have one.
