Mrs. Martha Louise Brown, age 74, formerly of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. She was born August 19, 1946 to Joe and Louise Presson, in Gurdon, Arkansas. Martha was a kind person who loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. In fact, she made it her duty to see that all her grandchildren got their driver’s license, by carrying them to get it. She was a loving soul to all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Buddy” Brown, and one brother, Jerry Presson.

Martha is survived by her son, Jimmy Brown (Rena) of Prescott, AR; two daughters, Juanita Brown of Gurdon, AR, LaDonna Cross (Edd) of Rosston, AR; Nine grandchildren: Josh Brown (Rachel), Cody Brown (Monica), Cameron Brown (Elizabeth), Eric Jackson (Emily), Jessica Welch (Clint), Ashley Herron (Michael), Joe Pittman (Connie), Wade Cross (Sarah), and Dustin Cross. 12 great-grandchildren (plus one on the way) and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, J.L. Presson (Mary) of Mena, AR; two sisters, Shirley Brown of Texarkana, Linda Marks (Bob) of Stratford, OK; two brothers-in-law, Gary Brown (Teresa) of Prescott, AR and Rickie Brown (Ramona) of Hope, AR, sister-in-law, Ronda Brown of Texarkana, AR and special caregiver, Helen Haynie.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2021 in the BRAZZEL/Cornish Chapel with Bro. Josh Brown officiating. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
