Melanie Finigan
Melanie Lynn Rowe Finigan, 42, of Texarkana, TX made the journey to her heavenly home on Friday, March 12th, 2021.
Melanie was born December 18, 1978 in Hope, Arkansas to Kenny and Beverly Rowe. She was a graduate of Hope High School and UAMS College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for nearly 20 years. She was known for her outstanding professionalism, uplifting spirit, and was a dedicated servant to her patients.
Her greatest joy was being a mother to her two sons, Ethan Ryan Finigan (7) and Jacob Levi Finigan (6). She was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend to many. She had an unmatched wit and brought laughter to every situation. She asked Jesus Christ to be her Lord and Savior at a young age and was of Baptist faith.
Melanie is survived by her precious sons, Ethan and Jacob Finigan of the home, her parents, Kenny and Beverly Rowe of Hope, one brother, Cody Rowe (Kim), niece Aftyn Rowe of Spring Hill, two special aunts Tanya Frazier of Texarkana, TX and Jan Ownby (Yancy) of Killen, and a host of cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Doc and Betty Sue Rowe, maternal grandparents, Bill and Wanda Frazier, one aunt, Peggy Powell, and a cousin, Richard Powell.
A come-and-go visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Brazzel Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 15, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Brazzel Oakcrest with Brother Charlie Zumwalt and Brother Jay Pollan officiating.
