The Columbia County Hayride in Magnolia held it’s 50th Anniversary Show this past Saturday and Nevada County resident Brady Rhodes was one of the performers.  Rhodes is a very popular guest on the monthly program.  The Hayride started in March of 1971 in Mt. Holly.  Later, it moved to the Columbia County Fairgrounds and the Calhoun Community Center.  For the past 30 years the Hayride has been held at Union Street Station in Magnolia.  The Hayride is held the third Saturday of every month and is broadcast live on KZHE/100.5 FM.

The Hayride is the fourth longest-running live country music show in the U.S. behind the Grand Old Opry, the Renfro Valley Barn Dance, and the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree.
