Roping Clinic Held At Fair Park

22 children from as far away Fordyce and Bloomberg, Texas were in Hope Monday for a two-day Tie-down and Breakaway Roping Clinic.  The clinic was conducted by Cheyenne and Maverick Harper of South Louisiana.  “Dummy Roping” was held Monday morning with “Drag Roping” set for later in the day.  Before the clinic finishes the youth will be roping live cattle.  Ages ranged from 5 years old up to seniors in high school.   Several local youngsters were participating including Raley McMurrough, Paislee Singleton,  and Henry Townsend.
