PRESCOTT – Congratulations to Southern Caregivers on being named the April 2021 Business of the Month

Southern Caregivers is a private, family owned In-Home Personal Care Agency. The company is owned and operated by five Registered Nurses with five locations throughout the state of Arkansas; Magnolia, Texarkana, Hot Springs, Star City, and Searcy. Owners include Blake & Morgan Watson (Magnolia, AR), Samantha Gummeson (Prescott, AR), Landon Stuart (Hot Springs, AR), and Heather Allen (Searcy, AR)

Southern Caregivers’ mission is to provide a supportive team that is loving, caring, and experienced so that they may give the utmost quality care to their clients. “We strive to enhance the quality of life for your loved one, making their lives brighter, safer, and more enjoyable”.

Caregivers are able to be placed in various setting, such as, the home, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. Their nurturing and caring companions are matched to meet the emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the clients they care for.

The caregivers are able to help with a variety of tasks while with the client such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, dressing, transferring/positioning, laundry/ironing, grocery shopping/errands, medication reminders, meal preparation, feeding, housework, etc.

All caregivers have been thoroughly screened with background and maltreatment checks. Caregivers have also been checked off on their competency skills and are either a PCA (Personal Care Aide) or CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant).

Southern Caregivers accepts various source for payment; Private Pay, Qualifying Medicaid, AR Choices (Medicaid Waiver Program through the State of Arkansas), VA, Long-Term Care Policies, and PASSE.
