Prescott, Spring Hill, and Hope Golf Results From September 2nd

The Spring Hill Boys Golf Team came out on top in a match between the Bears, Hope, and Prescott on September 2nd.  The Spring Hill Varsity Boys posted a score of 140 with Colin Purifoy as medalist with a 42.  He was followed by Chris Hernandez with a 45, Ryan Whatley with a 53, and Reed Rothwell with 55.  The Spring Hill Jr. Varsity players Garrison Brown and Griffin Chandler each shot 67.

The Hope Boys turned in just two more strokes than Spring Hill with a 142.  Collin Easterling shot 45, Juan Lean shot 48 and both Calvin Haynes and Hunter Mathis shot 50.  Charlie Ford shot 60.

The Prescott Boys turned in a 159.  Jace Cummings shot 44, Pate Willis had 48, and Rhett Bullinger shot 67.

In the girls competition, the Prescott Varsity Girls shot 155.  Chloe Grimes was medalist with a 49.  Kamryn Collier had a 50.  Kelsie Harvey and Lainey Robbins both shot 56.  For the Jr. Varsity Girls, Caytlee Poole and Kaygen Klutts shot 54 with Georgie Crain turning in a 60.

The Spring Hill Girls turned in a 189.  Baili Butler shot a 62, Ali Pierce a 63.

Hope only fielded two female golfers.  Payton Rhodes shot a 53 and Ashlyn Courtney a 58.
