Storm fells tree, damages home

PRESCOTT – Saturday’s storm left one home damaged when an oak tree split from the high winds and struck the rear of the house owned by John Miller.

No other damage was reported around the city or in the county. The extent of the damage is unknown at this time. However, the tree did rip an awning down over a back door and limbs had to be cut away from the air conditioning unit so it could get adequate air flow.
