3.00 lower. Quality was average. Buyer participation was limited. Fleshy new crop calves made up the majority of the offering. Changes in the weather combined with the time of year has the market on a downslide. Supply included: 73% Feeder Cattle (46% Steers, 40% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 25% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (92% Bred Cows, 8% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
