Alfred “Wayne” Tucker

Wayne Tucker, age 77, passed away peacefully on the 18th of December, at a local Rehab Center, due to complication of COVID.

Wayne, known as “Pop” to his children and “Papaw” to his grandchildren, was born in 1944 on the 6th of September to Arlie Tucker and Artie Mae Lollis, in Texarkana, TX. He was a Navy veteran and served at Pearl Harbor during the Viet Nam war.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley, sister Betty and Dottie, children Tammy, Angela, Randy, Paul and wife Dee, and Steven. Step children Shelia, Jeannie, David, and Becky and husband David, and a wealth of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Artie Mae Tucker, sister Virginia and Carol, brother J.P. and son-n-laws, Billy and John.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm on December 22 at The Place of Meeting Church, on Highway 67, in Perrytown. Brother Jerry Crane and Nathaniel Crane will officiate.
