HOPETwo campuses of the Hope Public Schools will continue in virtual learning mode through the end of the week as a pivot from on-campus instruction concludes for other HPS campuses.

“Based upon consultation with the Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, we will continue the pivot for two of our campuses for the remainder of this week,” HPS Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Crossley said. “Because of rising positive numbers with staff, Clinton Primary and Hope Academy of Public Service will return to face-to-face instruction on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022.”

Students at CPS and HAPS will remain off-campus until Jan. 18, after observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday.

Dr. Crossley said all other campuses will resume on-campus instruction on Thursday, Jan. 13 before observing the federal holiday.

If you would like your student to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please make an appointment with the Bobcat Clinic for tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 12, by calling 722-2733, option 2,” he said. “If you are experiencing symptoms or are quarantined, please remain home. This will allow us to combat rising numbers in our district.”

Crossley said updates will continue to be available on HPS websites and social media.
