Jimmy Lyle Hill, Sr., age 64 of Delight, Arkansas passed away on February 2, 2022, in Hope, Arkansas, among loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Barto Hill, Sr. and Lillian Henson, and brothers, Billy Hill, Jackie Hill, and Lonnie Hill. He is survived by siblings, Tina Morris, Faye Tallant, Caro Mullins, and Barto Hill, Jr., as well as his children, Jimmy Hill, Jr., and Krystle Meza. He has sadly left behind a vast number of beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jimmy was a jack of all trades. He was a great welder, truck driver, heavy machine operator, and was very good at math. He was a loving father and a very giving and friendly man. He always wanted to lend a helping hand, and if you needed it, or even wanted it, would give the very shirt off of his back. His laughter was contagious and those who would hear it couldn’t help but smile or join in his laughter. Jimmy never met a stranger and was always cheerful, even during life’s struggles. Very rarely would you hear him utter a negative word against someone.

Jimmy was stubborn though! He would do what he wanted, when he wanted, and how he wanted. Even at the very end of his life, he knew what he wanted and how things needed to be. He was very tough and has been compared to a Timex watch: he just would keep on ticking. This was why it was so shocking that God took him home so young and so quickly. He survived two open heart surgeries and took on whatever life threw at him with a joke and a laugh, even lung cancer. A naturally great guy, Jimmy left his mark on the world by always caring about the people he loved and taking care of them by making them laugh and feel his kindness.

To the most genuine man you could ever know: May Jimmy, Sr., Rest in Peace and enjoy looking down on all who still love him while God loves him unconditionally, as he has loved during his lifetime.
