Hope Police Officers Save Two Lives In Two Days

HPD Officers save 2 lives within 2 days: On January 17, 2022 HPD Officers J. Dean, L. Medlen and J. Haynie performed CPR on an infant until ambulance arrived. Officers assisted ambulance personnel to the hospital and also assisted ER personnel. The child was later flown to Children’s hospital for continued care. ER Personnel wrote a letter to the Chief of Police praising the Officer’s actions. On January 19, 2022 Officer J. Dean and L. Medlen performed CPR and utilized an AED to save the life of a 75 year old man found laying on the floor of his bedroom by his son. Big thanks to these Officers for their service to the City of Hope.
