No trend due to no report last two weeks. Market was strong on all classes of cattle. Quality was average to plain. Buyer participation was active. Feeder cattle under 500 lbs. were in high demand. Slaughter cattle are selling at a high not seen in many months. A video load of 685 lb. steers was sold at a premium figure. Last week there were 3 video loads sold to a aggresive group of bidders. Supply included: 86%
Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 29% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (78% Cows, 22% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (25% Bred Cows, 25% Bred Heifers, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.
