PRESCOTT – A wreck occurred around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, on Interstate-30 around the 45 mile-marker.

There were no injuries, though both people in the vehicle at the time were taken to Wadley Memorial Hospital in Hope.

According to Arkansas State Trooper Bernard Pettit, Troop G had received reports of a vehicle going the wrong way on the interstate. However, these rumors could not be proven. The accident occurred at the 45mm westbound. Pettit said the vehicle involved was traveling in the proper direction. It left the road for some reason, traveled about 100 yards into the woods and ended up in a creek. Two people were in the vehicle at the time.

Further information isn’t available as the incident is still under investigation.
