Doris Jean Stultz

Doris Jean Stultz, 89, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away on March 8, 2022.  She was born on December 21, 1932 in Lewisville, Arkansas to Arval and Mary Formby Barbaree.  She was known as the best shot giver ever, she worked as a nurse for Lafayette County Hospital for 20 years and for Medical Park Hospital in Hope until she was 78 and was also a nurse for the Midway Boyd Hill Volunteer Fire Department.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading and needle point.

Ms. Stultz was preceded in death by her husband, William James Stultz; three sons, Larry, Jimmy and Bobby Stultz; two brothers, Eric and Hoyt Barbaree; son in law, Rex Ainsworth and daughter in law, Sandy Stultz; three grandson, Jamie Ainsworth, Jimmy Stultz, Jr. and Zachery Stultz; granddaughter, Hannah Stultz and great granddaughter, Hannah Vann.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Stultz and Jeffery Stultz and wife, Penny all of Lewisville, AR; four daughters, Mary Ann Vann and husband, Ardell of Genoa, AR, Linda Bethany and husband, Mike of Magnolia, AR, Shirley Dison and husband, David of Mt. Holly, AR and Brenda Ham and husband, Bruce of Monroe, LA; one daughter in law, Linda Stultz of Lewisville, AR; one brother, Steve Barbaree of Lewisville, AR; one sister, Shirley Cherry of DeKalb, TX; 23 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2:00P.M.at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Lewisville with Pastor Takumi Nishiuchi and Bro. Eric Barbaree officiating.  Interment will follow at Shiloh Community Church Cemetery in Falcon under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00P.M. tilservice time at Piney Grove Baptist Church.
