Sheba’s Family Restaurant in Hope fed members of George Strait’s “Ace In the Hole” band March 17th.  A friend of a local resident who is facebook friends with Strait’s tour manager alerted them that the manager had posted that “Sheba’s Family Restaurant Rocks”.  Upon contacting the manager, Tom Brooks Foote, via Facebook he verified the band had stopped in Hope on March 17th prior to a Little Rock concert.  Foote said the band had planned to stop in Texarkana but “overshot a bit”.  They used google to find a restaurant and ended up at Sheba’s.  When asked for an account of their visit, Foote said ” The food as you know was great , as was the service. We will stop again if the occasion arises . As we were leaving I asked is this family owned ? Delightful folks , great food !”  Sounds like some of the biggest names in country music know what we’ve known all along….Sheba’s is a great place to eat!
