Carla White

Carla Elaine White was born in San Francisco, California, on November 22, 1962, to parents Dorothy Jean McFadden and Clifford James McFadden. She went to St. Francis Elementary School, Aptos middle School, and went on to graduate from Abraham Lincoln High School. After high school she attended San Francisco City College to further her education and explore her love for music, by joining the college choir. In choir she met and married husband, Truman White, later they would move to Sacramento, CA where they raised their children: Tiffany,Timaka, Chasytie, Jamaique, Jereana and Pushann. Carla loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and all other members of her family. She also enjoyed sewing,crocheting and doing crafts of all types, but above all else,singing (and she could sang) and also listening to music especially gospel music. Amongst other talents she learned to play the piano as a young child, and years later played at The Grand Opera House in San Francisco. Carla was a proud employee of Dignity Health in Sacramento for 25 years, and recently retired in 2021. After retiring she moved to Conyers, Georgia, where she spent her final moments.

In death, Carla is reunited with her parents, husband, and younger brother, Phillip McFadden. Carla is loved and survived by her aforementioned six children; sister, Jackie Bolden, and grandchildren: Deandriea, Trequann, Kezjuann, Dajion, Jadence,Jamaique Jr., Latyanna, Zariea and host of more grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Carla loved everyone in her family especially her children and grandchildren there was nothing she wouldn’t do for anyone. She had a heart of gold. She was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Gone, but never forgotten.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at Brandon’s Mortuary in Hope, Arkansas, on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 P. M. Her earthly body will be laid to rest at Two Mile Branch Cemetery in Hope.
