Chavez tabbed for OBU talent search trip

PRESCOTT – Congratulations to Senior High OBU Educational Talent Search student Nelda Chavez for being selected to attend the 2022 OBU Educational Talent Search Summer Component in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an all expense paid week trip that allows students the opportunity to network and experience the culture and historical sites of Atlanta. Nelda was selected one of 20 students from 12 schools.
In order to be selected, students had to submit an application, be recommended by a teacher, attend weekly tutoring sessions and most importantly write an essay as a letter to their younger self.
