HPD arrests four

HOPE – On April 25, 2022 at approximately 9:30am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Ricky Evans, 47, of Hope, AR. Mr. Evans was charged with breaking or entering into a structure and theft of property. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of South Washington in Hope, AR. Evans was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 26, 2022 at approximately 10:10am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested a male juvenile of Hope, AR. The male juvenile was arrested and charged with assault on a family/household member in the 3rd degree, threatening a fire or bomb, and criminal mischief in the 1st degree. The arrest occurred in the 2000 block of South Main Street in Hope, AR. The juvenile was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 28, 2022 at approximately 3:42pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Kendall Young, 20, of Hope, AR. Mr. Young was charged with possession of firearms by certain persons. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of West 6th Street in Hope, AR. Young was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On April 30, 2022 at approximately 1:10am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Jose Alvarado-Gomez, 31, of Hope, AR. Mr. Alvarado-Gomez was charged with aggravated assault. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of South Fulton Street in Hope, AR. Alvarado-Gomez was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
