Civitan Club Business After Hours

The Hope Civitan Club hosted a Business After Hours at the Hope/Hempstead Chamber of Commerce Tuesday, April 26.   For the past two years, the club has hosted an outdoor drive-through version of this annual event in conjunction with Civitan Awareness Month.  Members and guests were pleased to be inside the Chamber, with some even sitting outside in chairs placed on the sidewalk.  The weather cooperated nicely and a good crowd participated.

During the Business After Hours, winning tickets were drawn from a raffle conducted by the Civitan Club, with winners each receiving two tickets to the Oakridge Boys Concert held at Hempstead Hall April 29.  Civitan Kim Smith got her tickets during the event; winner Steve Buelow (on the right) was presented his tickets the next day by Civitan Jerry Pruden.  The tickets were provided courtesy of Hempstead Hall.
The door prize, a big basket of goodies donated by Canteen Vending, was won by Rachel Parson.
