By Hope Public Schools, 05/6/22 12:22 PM

The Hope High School Family and Consumer Science classes have connected with the Hempstead County Extension Office of the University of Arkansas Agricultural Extension Service in special presentations and projects during the spring semester this year. Terrie James, HCE Chair, worked with students of NoraAnn Cummings who passed testing and became certified Serve Safe Food Handlers, while Betty Wingfield, HCE 4-H Agent, worked with Cummings’ and Michelle Lloyd’s classes on a “ReThinking Their Drinks” project that featured healthy drinks produced on the Smoothie Bike from Growing Healthy Communities of Nashville. – Hope Public School
