June 16, 2022, Hope, Arkansas, Klipsch Heritage Museum Association (KHMA) is excited to announce the two “BIG Sounds Downtown” artists who will take the HUB stage on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Trey Johnson is a blues-based singer songwriter from our great state of Arkansas. His songs have true “Southern Soul” with an energy to match. He has shared the stage with some of the greatest artists of his generation. It’s been said that “if Trey Johnson doesn’t make you move, you might need to check your pulse!”

Jason Willmon is an Arkansas native whose harmonica style has wowed audiences all over the country with influence ranging from Little Walter to Willie Nelson. Together, these musicians make a combo that is tried and true. Great songs matched with a great delivery!

The HUB, in downtown Hope, is the place to be on July 7. KHMA is looking forward to welcoming two impressive musicians who also happen to be incredible entertainers,” stated Beckie Moore, KHMA executive director.

BIG Sounds Downtown will kick off at 5:00 PM with local artists performing on Elm Street and Main Street. Artists who are on the schedule at this time are Jenny Taylor, Riley Bramlett, and Park Rangers with the Clinton Birthplace National Historic Site. KHMA is still accepting musicians to play in front of downtown businesses. If you are interested, please email Beckie Moore at beckie@klipschmuseum.org. Once again, KHMA will partner with the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council as they host ArtWalk on the same evening.

KHMA encourages everyone to enjoy the upcoming BIG Sounds Downtown by shopping and dining in downtown Hope while listening to musicians and viewing SWAAC’s artists at work. Before 7:00 PM, bring your lawn chairs to the HUB (along with dinner if you would like) and get ready for one, awesome evening with Trey Johnson and Jason Willmon.

Big Sounds Downtown Concerts are free to the public thanks to the following sponsors: McDonalds, Tyson Foods, The First National Bank of Tom Bean, New Millennium, SWARK.Today, and Diamond Bank.
