Library providing food boxes

PRESCOTT – To serve those in need, the Prescott Nevada County Library/Harvest Regional Food have partnered to implemented a system where family food boxes and hygiene items (as available) can be ordered and pick-up at the library on Thursdays.

Families must have a student currently approved for free or reduced meals in a School District, one U.S. citizen in a household, and participate in one or more of the following programs: SNAP, WIC, TANF, or Medicaid/ARKids First to qualify to receive food boxes.

So, our team can prepare boxes in advance, please registerAdvance registration will help shorten wait times for food distribution.

Ordering by 11pm the day before delivery helps ensure delivery:

Ordered food boxes can be picked up between 10:15 am – 11:00 am on Thursdays.

Food boxes can be picked up without ordering between

11:15 am – 12:00 pm on Thursdays or while supplies last.
