Hope Downtown Network Offers Grant Opportunities

Thanks to grant funds from Main Street Arkansas, Hope Downtown Network (HDN) received $5,000. The network voted to add $1000 to that amount in order to offer a total of $6000 in matching funds.
The first grant will be a $1,000 mini grant with a $500 match from the business or property owner. There will be four grants awarded for this dollar amount. This mini grant is directed for external/internal building improvements.
The second grant will be a $500 mini grant with a $250 match from the business or property owner. There will be four grants awarded for this dollar amount. This mini grant is directed for external/internal improvements.
John Sitzes, President of the Hope Downtown Board of Directors stated, “Our partnership with Main Street Arkansas allows a great opportunity for downtown businesses to upgrade their property for half the cost by participating in our matching grant program.”
Grant applications will be open from September 1, 2022 through October 31, 2022. Applications may be picked up at the chamber located 201 S Main or via email request. Please email hopechamberdirector@gmail.com.
The grants are made possible by Main Street Arkansas and Hope Downtown Network an Arkansas Downtown Network Program under Main Street Arkansas, a program of Arkansas Historic Preservation, and an agency of the Department of Arkansas Parks, Heritage and Tourism.
