Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is Gearing Up for Christmas Around the World

The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the festivities for the upcoming Christmas Open House on Thursday, November 17^th, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:30pm. This year’s Christmas Open House theme is Christmas Around the World.

If your path takes you through Downtown Hope you will see the multiple trees of Be the Light, sponsored by Klipsch Heritage Museum Association, have begun popping up and adorning the light poles. These trees will be an addition to the Christmas décor in downtown from November 14 through December 31^st.

Participating businesses will decorate their windows in hopes to be one of the top three winners chosen by our Window Decorating Contest Sponsor, First National Bank of Tom Bean. There is still time to register by contacting the Chamber Office.

The Chamber is excited to announce our Downtown Christmas Selfie Contest, with presenting sponsor SWARK.Today, this will be a fun way to make your way around downtown, visit the local shops and to get your name entered into a drawing for an amazing prize package. More details to come, don’t miss this one!!

On Thursday, November 17^th from 5:00pm-7:30pm there will be shopping opportunities galore with specials and discounts you don’t want to miss, not to mention the refreshments, giveaways, door prizes and dinning. A huge thank you to McDonalds for sponsoring this year’s carriage rides that will take place downtown. Other attractions will include ornament decorating, visits with the students of PAX at the Chamber, hot chocolate bars, a visit with the Grinch at the HPS Administration Building, the introduction of the Ice Skating Rink at The HUB, the dancers of Danctastics performing at the depot from 6-7, Amber Aaron Photography Pictures with Santa beside Rae-Tays and MUCH MUCH MORE!
