By submitted, 11/17/22 9:54 AM

NORTH LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas State Police command staff will join with officials of the Arkansas State Police Foundation and Governor Asa Hutchinson in dedicating the completion of the department’s new precision driving training track complex at 1:30 PM, Thursday, November 17.  Members of the Arkansas State Police Commission are anticipated to be among those in attendance.
Located in North Little Rock at Camp Joseph T. Robinson, the 2.8 mile driving track, built to state highway standards, and adjoining control tower-garage building have been under construction over the past four years.  The facility includes a separate classroom building.  Funding for construction was derived through a collaboration of public and private funds.
The track complex and classroom will be used as part of the recurring emergency vehicle operations training received annually by all Arkansas State Troopers and will be available for training sessions by all certified Arkansas law enforcement agencies.
