Kathie survived occupied Germany with 90% of her hometown being bombed out. It was always suspected, but never confirmed, that she had been involved with the French Revolution. Kathie & Bennie instilled a great sense of community service within their children. Kathie volunteered teaching sewing classes, PTA, Girl Scouts, Easter Seals, and Meals on Wheels. Kathie loved cheating at Skip-Bo, Scrabble, and other board games, especially when it involved her grandchildren. Kathie adored & was adored by her grandchildren. Her sense of humor and the love for her family & community will be sincerely missed.

A special thank you to Elite Home Health as well as Dierksen Hospice for their ongoing care & assistance; not only to Kathie but also to her family.
