Hempstead County EDC meets

The Hempstead County Economic Development Corporation met January 20 for their monthly meeting. A discussion was held on finding 400 acres in Hempstead County for a new venture.  The real estate committee will follow up on all leads. The Housing Committee  has visited two other cities to get ideas on expanding housing opportunities in Hempstead County.

The EDC has had three industrial leads in the last month from Arkansas Economic Development Commission for new businesses that Hempstead County EDC submitted proposals to the state agency.to locate those firms here.
