Klipsch Heritage Museum Association Announces Artists Playing Big Sounds Downtown

Wednesday, May 10, 2023, Hope, Arkansas, Klipsch Heritage Museum Association is excited to announce the lineup of artists for the upcoming summer concert series known as Big Sounds Downtown. The concert series takes place at the HUB in Pavilion Park on the first Thursday evening in June, July, and August from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Pavilion Park is located on the corner of 2nd Street and Elm Street in downtown Hope. The following artists will be performing at Big Sounds Downtown: Jacob Flores, Dusty Rose Band, and COVIE the Band.

Meet the artist, Jacob Flores.

Jacob Flores – Performing June 1, 2023

Flores first broke into the music scene while attending Henderson State University, where he entered the school’s singing competition, Henderson Idol, and was quickly crowned “2013 Henderson Idol.” He then went on to audition and advance through preliminary rounds of NBC’s The Voice as well as Fox Network’s American Idol: Season 14. Flores has been featured as a support act alongside internationally recognized recording artists: La Sonora Dinamita, Los Traileros del Norte, and Banda Carnaval. He was selected to perform at the 381st National Guard Birthday Gala in Washington, D.C. As one of Hot Springs’ favorite musicians, Flores has been voted the “Sentinel-Record Reader’s Choice Best Local Performer” four years in-a-row (2019-2022). His achievements have been featured in 501 Life Magazine, Arkansas Business (Outstanding Young Professional of the Year Nominee), the Sentinel-Record, and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette Newspaper. Flores was most recently nominated for the Sentinel-Record’s 2023 feature of “Millennials Making a Difference.” As a follow-up to his debut album, “No Borders” (Blue Rock Artist Ranch & Recording Studio, 2015), Flores released his second studio album, “Cupid” (Sound Emporium Studios, Nashville, TN, 2021) and is currently working on his next studio project while also performing weekly at various venues throughout the State of Arkansas.
